Your donation will help the Red Cross prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and your gift recipient will know that he or she has helped make a difference. 1.  Make a donation by completing the donation form.

2.  Wait for an email from the American Red Cross. The email will contain a holiday e-card that you can send to your family or friend.

3.  Forward the email on to your gift recipient and let them know that you have made a donation to the Red Cross in their name!

4.  Watch your mailbox for a printed letter acknowledging your donation. This letter can be used as proof of your donation for tax purposes.
