Image More than 50 volunteers from the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin have been busy helping those affected by severe weather in Kenosha County since the tornadoes touched down in the area on January 7.

The Red Cross has sent caseworkers, mental health volunteers, mobile feeding units and vans filled with clean up kits, storage bins and other necessary items into areas affected by the tornado. Thanks to their efforts, the Red Cross was able to distribute hundreds of items to help with clean up and pass out more than 400 snacks and meals from the Emergency Response Vehicle.

Thanks to volunteers and the community's support, the Red Cross was able to provide immediate disaster relief and is now transitioning to long-term relief efforts. But our efforts do not stop here! Please help us respond to this and other disasters in your community by donating your time and money to the Red Cross. Together we can help communities in southeastern Wisconsin prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Red Cross is not a government agency. All Red Cross disaster assistance is free. Your local American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin serves people in need in Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties. To help those affected by this and other disasters, financial contributions can be made on our secure donation site or by calling 1-800-236-8680.
