Image As part of their Disaster Preparedness Initiative, the City of Milwaukee Housing Authority has partnered with the Red Cross Community Disaster Education program to provide free disaster preparedness information to residents at 21 Housing Authority properties located throughout the city.

Beginning in April, Community Disaster Education volunteers will be giving out information about the three Be Red Cross Ready steps---Make a Plan, Get a Kit and Be Informed---at resident and resident advisory board meetings at the city’s 13 high rise buildings, five scattered family and three special Veterans locations. The presentations will end when each location has been visited with information.

If you would like to find a presentation near you, please use our contact us form to request information. To volunteer for this exciting program, sign up today!
