You've seen it played out on the evening news. There's been a fire. A home is destroyed. A family is left homeless. Then you spot it in the background. The Red Cross. And you know, they're going to be ok.

The American Red Cross has been there to help people in need following a disaster for more than 125 years. The public counts on us to be there. To provide a helping hand. Now, we need your help. We need Disaster Action Team volunteers. And we need them now.

As a DAT volunteer for the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin, you and other members of the team, will be the first Red Cross responders to the scene of a disaster. You'll provide emergency assistance such as shelter, food and clothing. Most importantly, you'll provide kindness and support when they need it most. And the experience will change your life forever.
