Local Disasters

Our volunteers respond to more than 500 disasters in southeastern Wisconsin each year. As such, the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin is grateful for each and every donation to our organization. We accept both monetary and in-kind gifts to help us fulfill our needs. If you see that you can help with any of the items on our wish list, please contact us. These are items that if donated will help us better serve the people that we support as well as help us stretch our resources farther. Most items must be new and in good condition. We cannot accept used clothing, hygiene or food items.

For further information on making in-kind donations, please contact our office at 414-342-8680.

Bulk Donations
Offers of sizeable, bulk donations are reviewed to determine if they meet a current need. Bulk donations are typically new and palletized items that are transported by the donor. If you would like to discuss this type of donation, please contact our Chapter beforehand.

Thank you for your generosity and support of our programs and services. We couldn't do it without you!

Large Disasters

Because the American Red Cross wants to treat all people equally, during a large disaster we normally accept products donated in quantities large enough to ensure we can distribute similar items to everyone we are assisting. If you would like to make a bulk in-kind donation of products that are expressly needed on a disaster relief operation, such as bottled water, toiletries and food products, please contact us first to find out our specific needs. Donors will also need to provide the shipping or transportation of bulk items to a designated site. Smaller donations are accepted on an as-needed basis, and only after approval from the Chapter. Please contact us to find out our needs at 414-342-8680 if you would like to make a charitable in kind donation.
