Red Cross volunteers are distributing supplies to assist residents as they clean and repair their homes. All supplies---storage bins, paper towels, work gloves, clean up kits or garbage bags---are available at the Village Hall in Eagle on Main Street. The Red Cross will remain on scene until everyone's immediate needs---food, clothing and shelter---have been met. Help people affected by disasters like the Eagle tornado, by donating to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. On those rare occasions when donations exceed Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters. Your gift enables the Red Cross to prepare for disasters and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to victims of all disasters. Call 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish). Contributions to the Disaster Relief Fund may be sent to your local American Red Cross chapter. Internet users can make a secure online contribution.

American Red Cross volunteers are in Eagle, offering assistance to residents affected by the recent tornado. Volunteers opened a reception center just hours after the tornado struck and offered 17 families food, water and a place to sleep. The next day, volunteers were offering food, clothing, clean up kits and shelter for anyone who needs it.
